THE WILD is a 3-D paper pop-up object that reveals a story as you play with it. This new form of storytelling allows the reader to interact with the object in a whole new way. Nothing like this exists in the market right now, and this fundraiser will enable me to bring this unique storytelling experience to a larger audience.
THE WILD received an award from the Society of Illustrators and the Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art, and is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt Design Library and the library of the School of Visual Arts.
All the money raised from this campaign will go toward the cost of printing, die cutting, manufacturing, and shipping THE WILD.
Once the campaign is completed, it will take about four months for the printing and manufacturing of THE WILD and an additional month for shipping. Just in time for the holiday season!
