Quantum Break has claimed the number one spot on the UK's official retail game chart, Chart Track has revealed. It's the first chart win of the year for Microsoft, who have been missing from the #1 spot since November, when Halo 5: Guardians hit the top.
Remedy's latest held off fierce competition from Codemasters' multi-platform DiRT Rally to reach the top of the mountain, which - of course - only accounts for boxed game sales at UK retail. The two newcomers push The Division off the top and down to third, with the usual suspects such as FIFA 16, Grand Theft Auto V, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III lining up behind. We're pretty sure GTA V will drop out of the charts soon due to the fact that everyone in the known universe has a copy.
