Bandai Namco has confirmed that it’ll be a long wait for any new Dark Souls III content, with the second likely to be 2017.
Darks Souls III is not the sort of game you tend to finish in a hurry, but if you do get desperate for more punishment then you’re going to have to wait till the autumn.
Publisher Bandai Namco didn’t say when exactly the DLC will be out or what it contains, but the description for the season pass promises ‘new maps, bosses, enemies and additional weapon and armour sets’.
The season pass costs £19.99, which it describes as a discounted price – so the DLC will probably be somewhere around £12 on its own.
The pass also promises two packs, and presumably that means the second won’t be out until 2017.
From Software has an excellent track record when it comes to DLC, with the expansions for Dark Souls and Bloodborne being just as good as the main games.
Like everything to do with Dark Souls II, its wasn’t quite as good – but still well above the DLC norm.
