The new Titanfall game is going to be awesome. I ploughed 10 days into the first one, my only problem was that the game could be so exhilarating that after a few matches I would find myself burnt out. Some of the matches I played were so intense that I felt I didn’t need to play it for a while.
Destroying a titan, then leaping on to another, destroying that one, killing some pilots, then dropping titans on other titans, and mowing down hordes of minions all in one match was just insane. I think I’ll have to go back and play some more now. Yippee
PS: Hasn’t Phil Spencer already said that they aren’t making a .5 version of Xbox One? I’m confused as to why people keep saying that Microsoft are doing this.
GC: Phil Spencer started off the whole talk of upgrade consoles by saying that we’d see, ‘us come out with new hardware capability during a generation’ and stating that he wanted an end to ‘fixed console hardware’. Only later did he add, ‘I’m not a big fan of Xbox One and a half’ but that he still wanted to see ‘an upgrade’ for the Xbox One. So it’s very hard to say what he’s really planning to do.
