Turin Market Card Game Up On Kickstarter

In the Turin Market, goods are bought and sold often. Merchants look to gain some goods while selling off others, all in hopes that they’ll be the richest one at the end of the day. It’s this back-and-forth that is represented in Turin Market, a new bidding game up on Kickstarter.

In the game, players are looking to collect sets of goods. This is done by giving up cards from their hand to be part of an auction. The auction, itself, is done in silence (players place how much they’re willing to bid in their hand, all to be revealed together), so there’s a bit of bluffing going on as well (an element I always enjoy in games). When everyone reveals their bids, the player who bid the most gets the first pick of cards. Then so on down the line. Cards won this way are placed in front of the player. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t still be sold off, as players might end up with a card they know someone else might want more. But is the price worth it? Only at the end will you really know.

The campaign is up on Kickstarter now and is very close to their funding goal with still 22 days left on the clock.
