PS4 system software 3.50 rolled out to users earlier this week with a host of highly publicised features including PC/Mac Remote Play and the ability to appear offline.
However, it appears the update also boasts a range of unpublicised features, as discovered by users posting to Reddit.
The most useful secret features appear to be the return of USB music playback and the ability to install a 4TB hard drive. That's a lot of storage space.
Other bits and bobs include being able to disable the screenshot on-screen notification, meaning it's possible to take multiple shots without the pop-up getting in the way. There's also a way to use a new search field on the game list page for live streams, and the ability to set party member limit from 2-8 people.
