Sony has once again released their charts for the top selling games across the PlayStation platforms, this time for March 2016.These are just the numbers for the PlayStation Store, so retail copies and games sold through other means aren’t counted.
Microsoft has added three new games to Xbox One backward compatibility.The original Assassin's Creed, Codemasters racer GRID 2 and jetpack shooter Dark Void are all now available on the service, arriving shortly after last week's additions Alan Wake, Pac-Man and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Assassin's Creed, the upcoming movie based on the on-hiatus video game franchise, will be getting a companion virtual reality experience, Ubisoft, Fox and VR company Practical Magic have announced.Assassin's Creed VR Experience was announced on stage at GDC last night, but the publisher also put out the following tweet:

Video game based movies has really never worked out all that well over the years, with most being disappointing both critically and financially.One that is hoping to turn around that trend however is the Assassin’s Creed movie that has is being handled by Ubisoft themselves, and now we have the first trailer that continues to give us hope that this may turn out really well.
A recent survey shared by Ubisoft seems to indicate that it might not be all over for the future of Assassin’s Creed in Hollywood.While the project seems to be in a very early stage, it seems like Ubisoft is not giving up on the film series just yet.
