Sidescrolling, 2D action RPG Aurion: Legacy of the Kori-Odan, has brought its fiery, high-flying combat and its African fantasy storyline to Steam today.
Enzo Kori-Odan, prince of Zama, and his new wife Erine Evou have been forced into exile by Erine’s brother, who has overtaken the throne. To earn it back, they will work together, with Enzo using his Aurionic arts and Erine providing supporting skills to keep him in the fight.
Aurionic arts give players access to many powerful abilities, letting them fling balls of energy or even create beasts of living power to hurl at their enemies. These powers are available on top of Enzo’s acrobatic martial arts skills, letting him tear through his opponents with energy or his fists.
In the words of the developers, Kiro’o Games, 1st Central African Developer:
“Aurion pays homage to the culture and legacy of Africa with its hand-drawn and animated African-style graphics and a deep storyline that unfolds over more than 20 hours of innovative RPG and action-packed gameplay filled with combat and combos.”
