Here’s what’s new on Amazon Prime Video for May

Amazon adds scores of new titles to its streaming video service this May, giving fans an opportunity to binge watch vintage James Bond flicks, access to new and exciting seasons of acclaimed TV shows, and a new original film that depicts future of virtual reality.

On the TV front, there is nothing new and original from the digital network this month, but Amazon makes up for that by offering subscribers a few choice shows from other networks. The company borrows from HBO’s library again to offer viewers the fourth season of Boardwalk Empire, all four seasons of Mr. Show, and the sixth season of True Blood, as well as nabbing the debut season of popular new AMC series Humans this month.

While many TV releases are scheduled rather late in the month — the first new show hits Amazon on May 16th — there are plenty of new movies being added early in May to tide you over.

Noteworthy flicks coming to Amazon Prime in May include vintage hits like When Harry Met Sally, several early James Bond films, and cult comedy Airplane! and Airplane II: The Sequel. But the film Amazon hopes you’ll target this month is Creative Control, a new Amazon original film about an ad executive who uses futuristic VR technology to have an affair with his best friend’s girlfriend. A hyper-stylized black-and-white movie which debuted at this year’s SXSW festival, Creative Control features popular musician and comedian Reggie Watts as a main character.
